MRI Main Disconnect Panel
Bevco Engineering's MRI Main Disconnect Panels provide emergency shutdown, overcurrent protection, and OSHA Lock Out/Tag Out provisions in an OSHPD pre-approved, stand-alone cabinet. The Main Disconnect Panel (MDP) serves as the local disconnect for the MRI imaging system and features a contactor-based No-Trip Emergency Power Off (EPO) design that removes power without tripping a circuit breaker, eliminating the need for a breaker reset when power is restored.

Basic Panel Configuration:
MRI Main Disconnect Panels are available in one standard configuration: Part Number MR480-090-BB, designed for 400/415/480V, 50/60 Hz, three-phase power, with a 90A main MR circuit, 20A chiller circuit, and nominal enclosure dimensions of 24" H × 15" W × 9" D.
In addition to the standard panel, Bevco Engineering offers custom MRI Main Disconnect Panel configurations to accommodate specific voltage, amperage, mounting, and installation requirements for any MRI suite.
The simplified diagram shows how incoming three-phase power is routed through the MRI Main Disconnect Panel to both the MRI Power Distribution Unit and the chiller, with automatic restart after a power failure and remote emergency OFF capability.
