1965

Bevco Engineering is founded in a garage when the original owner is asked to design and build electrical controls for pump houses. The company quickly establishes a reputation for quality and reliability in custom control systems.

1975

With continued growth and increasing demand, Bevco moves operations into a dedicated facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, expanding its production capabilities.

1985

Bevco launches what is now known as Bevco Imaging Suite Controls (ISC), focusing on the design and manufacturing of control and disconnect panels for diagnostic imaging equipment, including PET-CT, CT, X-ray, and MRI systems.

1995

Chris Shult purchases Bevco Engineering. At the time, the company employs eight people. Under his leadership, Bevco begins a period of sustained growth and strategic investment.

2000s

Bevco invests heavily in advanced technology and automation, including EPlan 3D design software, CNC machining, automated wire processing, and lean manufacturing cells. These investments improve efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.

July 2001

Bevco moves into its current state-of-the-art facility, purpose-built by Chris Shult to support expanded manufacturing and engineering operations.

Bevco grows to more than 80 employees and becomes one of the largest custom electrical control system designers and manufacturers in the industry. Bevco ISC surpasses 45,000 installed panels worldwide, with products deployed across a wide range of industries and imaging applications.

April 2025

IEWC acquires Bevco Engineering, expanding its capabilities in precision controls and strengthening its reach in medical and industrial markets. Bevco becomes the Controls division within IEWC, combining its engineering expertise with IEWC’s global scale and resources.
