MRI DC Lighting Controllers
Bevco Engineering’s MRI DC Lighting Controllers convert incoming AC power to DC voltage to support lighting inside MRI magnet rooms. These controllers provide lighting control for existing ambient lighting fixtures, allowing patient-area lighting to be dimmed for a more comfortable imaging environment.
Because MRI suites rely on copper shielding to help protect equipment from RFI and EMI, standard AC lighting can create interference that may contribute to image distortion. Bevco’s DC Lighting Controllers provide a reliable DC power source for magnet room lighting, with standard constant-output models and optional variable-intensity models available.
Standard controllers are available with single-phase or three-phase incoming power and multiple current ranges. Custom MRI DC Lighting Controllers can also be designed and built in-house to match specific AC voltage, DC voltage, output, wattage, mounting, and installation requirements.
